What Is Commonly Reviewed After a Two-Vehicle Intersection Crash?
Crashes at intersections are reviewed by examining vehicle movements, traffic signals, roadway conditions, and each driver’s actions before impact. Investigators may examine vehicle damage, debris locations, and other physical evidence to determine how the collision occurred.
Other details to consider include visibility, weather conditions, driver statements, and available camera footage. Passenger injuries are also often evaluated as part of the overall review because the location and force of an impact can affect occupants differently. These findings help create a clearer picture of the events leading up to the crash.
