Campbell, MO (June 21, 2026) – A nighttime crash led to the death of a passenger and left two drivers with serious injuries on Friday night, June 19, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 412 and Missouri Route 164 in Dunklin County.
Authorities stated that the crash happened around 9:39 p.m. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2004 Ford Explorer traveling westbound entered the path of an eastbound 2022 Lincoln Nautilus, resulting in a crash at the intersection.
The Ford was driven by a 54-year-old man from Paragould, Arkansas. He sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee. The Lincoln was operated by a 54-year-old woman from Campbell, Missouri, who also suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
A 63-year-old male passenger in the Lincoln, also from Campbell, sustained critical injuries and was flown to Regional One Health. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20. The identities of those involved have not been released.
