Denver, CO (August 10, 2026) – A crash involving a motorist and a pedestrian on Sunday, August 9, near E 69th Avenue and Tower Road in Denver resulted in the pedestrian’s death.
The Denver Police Department initially reported that the pedestrian suffered serious injuries following the crash. An update later confirmed that the pedestrian was pronounced deceased.
According to police, the pedestrian appeared to be crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when they were struck by the motorist. The crash caused traffic delays in the area.
