Aspen Hill, MD (August 30, 2026) – A male pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries on Friday evening, August 28, after being struck by a vehicle at Georgia Avenue and Hewitt Avenue in Aspen Hill. Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 8:04 p.m.
According to the Montgomery County Police Department, Fourth District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel responded to the intersection after receiving a report of a pedestrian struck.
The injured man was taken to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries. Authorities did not immediately release his identity or provide additional information about his condition.
Drivers were advised to expect delays and use alternate routes while emergency crews investigated. The crash remains under review.
