Watertown, NY (August 11, 2026) – A pedestrian was hospitalized early Sunday morning, August 9, after being struck by a car outside an Aldi store along Arsenal Street in Watertown. It happened around 3 a.m. Arsenal Street is a major commercial corridor on the city’s north side.
The pedestrian was found in and out of consciousness, according to fire officials. Emergency crews began treating the person at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further care.
Few other details about the wreck were released. The cause remains under investigation, and we hope for a full recovery for the pedestrian.
