Saxonburg, PA (July 22, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously hurt after being struck by a pickup truck following a reported domestic-related incident on Carol Drive in Saxonburg Borough on Tuesday evening.
Dispatch information shows emergency units were called to 236 Carol Drive at about 5:30 p.m. Initial reports described a vehicle-versus-pedestrian call with unknown injuries. Within minutes, crews at the scene confirmed one person was lying on the ground after being run over by a pickup truck. A medical helicopter was first placed on standby before being requested to launch. The person was taken from the scene to a designated landing zone and then flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for further treatment. The driver later returned to the scene, and local police were notified. The person’s identity and current medical status have not been released.
