West Rancho Dominguez, CA (August 28, 2026) – A male pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early on Wednesday morning at Avalon Boulevard and E 136th Street in West Rancho Dominguez, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 4:10 a.m. on August 26. CHP officials said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified only as a male in the CHP incident log. Personnel from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office were called to the site.
No road closures related to the crash were reported. The circumstances leading to the collision remain under investigation.
