St. Paul, MN (August 6, 2026) – A 26-year-old woman was killed after being struck by an SUV on Interstate 94 in St. Paul early on Thursday, August 6.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. on westbound I-94 beneath W. 7th Street in Ramsey County. Investigators said a 2016 Lincoln MKX was traveling westbound in the center lane when it struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway.
The pedestrian, a 26-year-old woman from St. Paul, died as a result of the collision. The driver of the Lincoln, a 46-year-old woman from St. Paul, was not reported injured. Authorities said the roadway was dry at the time of the incident. The identities of those involved could be released by August 9. The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
