Killeen, TX (August 3, 2026) – A man died in a fatal hit-and-run crash in the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in east Killeen early on Sunday morning, August 2, according to the Killeen Police Department. Officers were dispatched around 5:28 a.m. and found the man lying in the roadway.
The Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit continues to investigate. The search for the driver remains ongoing. Our condolences go out to the man’s family and loved ones.
Why Are Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Cases Difficult to Solve?
