Hampton, VA (July 1, 2026) – A pedestrian lost their life after being struck by a motorcycle early on Tuesday at the intersection of Todds Lane and Aberdeen Road in Hampton. Emergency units were called to the intersection shortly before 12:10 a.m. following reports of the collision.
When personnel arrived, they found the pedestrian, who had been hit while using the crosswalk. The person was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorcycle operator sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The identity of the pedestrian has not been released, and no additional details about those involved were immediately available.
