Austin, TX (August 26, 2026) – A pedestrian on an e-scooter died in a crash on northbound MoPac at 45th Street, according to the Austin Police Department. Northbound lanes were closed through the 4700 block for about five hours before reopening around 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Details about the vehicle involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
