Denver, CO (September 7, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously hurt in a collision involving a motorist near East 40th Avenue and Kittredge Street on Saturday, September 5. A traffic alert was posted at 2:57 a.m.
The initial post confirmed serious injury but did not identify the pedestrian or driver.
East 40th Avenue was affected while investigators examined the roadway.
The circumstances leading to the wreck remain under review. We hope the pedestrian has a speedy recovery.
