Wagoner County, OK (August 17, 2026) – One person lost their life after a house fire on Saturday morning, August 15, near East 91st Street and South 257th East Avenue in Wagoner County. The victim was taken to a hospital but later died.
The fire damaged the home, although officials said it was not considered a total loss. The cause of the fire has not been confirmed, although investigators said an electrical issue may have contributed; that possibility remains unconfirmed.
