Dixon, CA (August 2, 2026) – One person lost their life in a head-on pickup truck crash on SR-113 near Hay Road in Dixon on Friday, July 31. Officials arrived shortly after 6:35 a.m. to assist at the scene of the deadly collision.
Officials reported that a red Chevrolet pickup truck and a Dodge pickup truck were involved in the crash. Both vehicles collided head-on and came to rest blocking all lanes of SR-113. One person inside a blue truck was reported to have no injuries, while other occupants remained inside their vehicles after the collision.
The roadway was closed in both directions as crews responded, and a Sig Alert was issued while the scene was being managed. The fatal crash remains under investigation, and additional details may be released as authorities continue their review.
