Plano, TX (January 4, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a serious crash involving a vehicle fire Saturday morning in Plano, where one individual was pulled from a burning vehicle and treated for injuries.
Units from Plano Fire-Rescue and local EMS responded to the intersection of Plano Pkwy and Dallas Pkwy shortly after 10:10 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash with injuries and an active vehicle fire. Upon arrival, crews found at least one vehicle fully engulfed in flames and a driver still inside.
Firefighters acted quickly, removing the driver from the burning vehicle. The individual was reported to be unconscious but breathing at the time of rescue. Immediate medical care was provided at the scene, and additional support was called in to suppress the fire and secure the crash site.
The full extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been released, and it remains unclear whether other vehicles were involved. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash and are working to determine how the vehicle became engulfed in flames.
