Portland, OR (January 13, 2026) – A traffic collision Tuesday evening in the Montavilla neighborhood resulted in injuries and traffic delays near a busy freeway interchange. The crash occurred around 7:22 p.m. at the intersection of SE Stark St and the I-205 Freeway.
Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, where they found vehicles with visible damage and at least one person in need of medical assistance. Paramedics treated the injured and transported at least one individual to a local hospital for further care. The severity of the injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Firefighters assisted with hazard containment and vehicle removal, while police officers redirected traffic and began documenting the circumstances surrounding the crash. The intersection serves as a major access point to I-205, and the crash caused temporary congestion in the area.
