Prairieville, LA (January 22, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched on Thursday following a head-on collision with injuries on Highway 621 near JD Broussard Rd in Ascension Parish.
The crash occurred on January 22 and involved two vehicles that collided in opposite directions, resulting in significant damage and prompting a medical response. Authorities confirmed that injuries were sustained in the crash, although the number of people hurt and the extent of those injuries have not yet been released.
Crews worked to assist the injured at the scene while also managing traffic delays in the area. The intersection, which sits along a well-traveled corridor in Prairieville, was partially blocked during the emergency response.
