Local fire and EMS units responded promptly to assess and treat the occupants at the scene.
Paramedics provided care for a 66-year-old male and an 89-year-old female, both of whom sustained Class 2 injuries, indicating serious but non-life-threatening conditions. Medical personnel stabilized the patients before arranging transport to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Traffic was temporarily impacted as responders secured the area and ensured the safety of bystanders and other drivers. Officers collected statements from witnesses and documented the scene while crews worked to remove debris and clear the vehicles involved.
