RENO, Washoe County, Nev., Nov. 7, 2026 — A 20-year-old man died and another person was left in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash on Friday night, November 6, on Mae Anne Avenue in northwest Reno.
The crash happened around 9:20 p.m. near Morning Star Drive. Investigators said the vehicle struck a tree, and the man died after being thrown from the car.
Five adults were in the vehicle at the time. The driver and two other occupants were taken to a hospital, where one of them is listed in critical condition. The conditions of the remaining occupants were not released.
The police said alcohol and speed appear to have been factors in the crash. The circumstances remain under investigation, and anyone with information has been asked to contact Reno police or Secret Witness.
