Richmond, VA (January 21, 2026) – Injuries were reported following a two-vehicle collision early on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Walmsley Blvd and Broad Rock Blvd in Richmond.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:58 a.m., prompting a response from Richmond Police and EMS units. Medics evaluated multiple individuals at the scene and transported at least one person to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. The severity of the injuries has not yet been publicly disclosed.
This intersection, located in a high-traffic corridor of South Richmond, was temporarily closed while emergency crews cleared the vehicles and assessed the scene. Police remained on-site to conduct a preliminary investigation into the cause of the accident.
Authorities are still working to determine what led to the early-morning crash. The roadway has since been cleared and reopened.
