Richmond, VA (January 18, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash resulted in injuries early Saturday morning at the intersection of East Leigh Street and North 8th Street in Richmond. The collision was reported at approximately 6:33 a.m., prompting a response from local police, fire, and emergency medical services.
The incident involved a gray sedan and a white SUV. Two individuals sustained injuries and received on-scene care from medics. Officials have not yet released further information regarding the severity of their injuries.
Traffic was impacted in the area as emergency crews worked to assist the injured and remove the vehicles from the roadway. The scene was later cleared after initial investigations were underway.
