Orange, CA (July 19, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was hurt on July 17 after a traffic collision involving a green Kia sedan on southbound State Route 57 just north of State Route 22 in Orange.
According to initial dispatch reports, the crash was reported around 2:18 p.m. The motorcycle and its rider came to rest in the No. 3 lane after the Kia and the motorcycle were involved in the collision. Early reports indicated the right lanes were blocked, with the No. 3 and No. 4 lanes also affected as emergency units worked at the roadway.
Radio updates later confirmed the rider was conscious, breathing, and speaking with emergency personnel at the scene. A tow truck was requested for the motorcycle, though no information about the extent of the rider’s injuries or the identity of those involved was immediately released. The cause of the collision remains under review as investigators continue gathering information.
