Gresham, OR (September 1, 2026) – A road construction worker was seriously injured on Monday, August 31, after being struck by a hit-and-run driver near Northeast Hogan Drive and Division Street in Gresham, according to police.
The crash was reported at approximately 5 a.m. A light-colored sedan struck the roadway worker, and the driver fled the scene before officers arrived. The injured worker was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Gresham Police said the Vehicular Crimes Team responded to investigate the crash. Hogan Drive was closed between Division Street and Burnside Road while investigators worked at the scene, and drivers were advised to use alternate routes.
