Rochester, NY (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a serious vehicle collision with reports of a person trapped on January 9 near Park Ave in Rochester, between Buckingham St and Somerton St. The crash occurred around 6:46 p.m. and prompted a large-scale response from multiple fire and rescue units.
Units including Truck 4, Engine 1, Engine 12, Rescue 11, and Battalion 2 arrived swiftly at the scene. Crews located at least one individual who was unable to exit their vehicle due to the damage sustained in the crash. Firefighters and rescue personnel worked efficiently to safely extricate the person, while medics provided immediate medical attention on-site.
