Frequently Asked Questions
How does speed affect the severity of a crash?
Higher speeds reduce the time drivers have to react and increase the force of impact, which tends to make injuries more severe and vehicle damage more extensive.
Why is distracted driving considered so risky?
Taking attention off the road, even briefly, slows reaction time and raises the chance of missing hazards like slowing traffic or merging vehicles, especially near highway ramps.
