Tulare, CA (August 6, 2026) — Injuries were reported after a rollover crash on southbound SR-99 near the J Street off-ramp on Wednesday, August 5.
California Highway Patrol dispatch records show the crash was reported shortly after 5 a.m. One vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof along the right shoulder, while another vehicle was reported off the roadway in a field near J Street.
Two adults and two juveniles were outside the vehicles when responders were notified. Debris was also reported in the roadway, and fire personnel and towing services were requested.
A later update indicated that one overturned vehicle had returned to its wheels. CHP ultimately classified the incident as a minor-injury collision. The circumstances remain under investigation.
