Sacramento, CA (January 22, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Calvine Rd and Auberry Dr resulted in minor injuries and major vehicle damage on January 22, prompting a response from California Highway Patrol and emergency crews.
The crash, reported around 2:45 PM, involved a gray Toyota sedan and a Saturn sedan, both of which sustained major front-end damage with full airbag deployment. According to CHP dispatch logs, both drivers were initially reported to be still inside their vehicles following the collision. One driver was noted to be conscious and talking but not moving, prompting emergency responders to assess and treat injuries at the scene.
Towing services were requested for both vehicles due to the severity of the damage. The intersection was partially blocked as responders managed the scene and worked to safely remove the vehicles. Traffic was impacted briefly in the area until the wreckage could be cleared.
