Sacramento, CA (January 12, 2026) – A tragic pedestrian accident early Monday morning claimed the life of one individual near the intersection of Elkhorn Blvd and Diablo Dr in the Foothill Farms area. The fatal incident occurred at approximately 12:14 a.m. on January 12, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities report that a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking along eastbound Elkhorn Blvd, just east of Diablo Dr. Despite the swift arrival of emergency crews, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
