Frequently Asked Questions
Why is distracted driving considered such a serious risk on the road?
Even a few seconds of taking your eyes off the road can mean missing a stopped vehicle or a sudden lane change, leaving little time to react before a crash happens.
How do weather and road surface conditions play into crashes like this?
Wet pavement, glare, or debris can reduce traction and visibility, making it harder for drivers to stop in time or keep control of their vehicle.
Where do most car accidents tend to occur?
Many crashes happen at intersections, where turning movements, cross traffic, and sightline obstructions increase the chance of a collision.
