Oklahoma City, OK (August 26, 2026) – Four people were taken to hospitals Monday afternoon, August 24, after a school bus collided with a car and rolled over in northwest Oklahoma City. The crash happened near NW 10th Street and Frisco Road.
The bus was carrying Mustang High School students returning from a vocational technology program. A red car was traveling on Frisco Road when its driver crossed the center line and struck the bus, according to Oklahoma City firefighters. The driver of the red car was critically injured and flown to a nearby hospital. Three students from the bus were also taken to hospitals after the collision.
Mustang Public Schools said all students aboard Bus 71 were accounted for and released to their families. Several students were evaluated at the scene, with some suffering minor injuries, and the district reported no life-threatening injuries among students or staff.
