Chattanooga, TN (August 1, 2026) – Two people were injured after a three-vehicle crash involving a car, a school bus, and a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office vehicle on Dayton Boulevard in Chattanooga on July 30. The collision happened in the 6100 block of the roadway.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, preliminary information indicates a vehicle entered the path of the sheriff’s office vehicle, leading to the crash. The school bus involved was not carrying children at the time. One person was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries, while one driver was taken to a hospital by personal vehicle with minor injuries.
The crash remains under review by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, and additional details may be released as the investigation continues.
