Citrus Heights, CA (August 12, 2026) – A crash involving a vehicle and a scooter rider on Butterball Way near Galbrath Drive in Citrus Heights caused minor to moderate injuries on Monday, August 10.
According to the incident log, a red vehicle was involved in the crash, while a gray Toyota Crown was identified as the other vehicle. The scooter rider suffered minor to moderate head injuries and was transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Center by Engine 41 before fire personnel arrived.
The initial report described the incident as a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash, while later information identified the other party as a scooter rider. The crash prompted a response from fire personnel.
