Windsor, CT (August 12, 2026) – A scooter rider and passenger were injured after a car crashed into a scooter near the Windsor-Hartford line early on Monday morning, August 10. The collision was reported around 1 a.m. near 17 Windsor Avenue.
Police initially reported that both the rider and passenger were unresponsive following the crash. The rider was transported to Hartford Hospital as a trauma alert, while the passenger was also taken to a hospital for treatment. The passenger was later reported to be conscious and alert, with neck pain and a leg injury.
No updated condition was provided for the rider. The report also stated that multiple other bikes left the area shortly after the crash, traveling south toward Hartford.
