Seattle, WA (January 29, 2026) – A bicyclist was injured on Wednesday evening in what authorities suspect to be a hit-and-run collision near the intersection of West Emerson Place and 19th Avenue West in Seattle.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 7:35 p.m. following reports that a vehicle had struck a bicyclist and fled the area. Firefighters arrived shortly afterward and provided immediate medical assistance to the injured cyclist, who was found at the roadside.
The extent of the bicyclist’s injuries has not been publicly confirmed, but they were treated at the scene and may have been transported for further medical evaluation. Authorities have not yet released details about the vehicle involved, and the driver had not been located at the time of the initial report.
