Lowell, WI (August 17, 2026) – A 70-year-old Reeseville man was seriously injured when a semi-truck hauling corn rear-ended a combine harvester on State Highway 16/60 near Lowell. The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 15.
The semi was driven by a 25-year-old Sharon man, while the combine was operated by the Reeseville man. Both vehicles were traveling east when the semi struck the rear of the combine, causing severe damage to both vehicles. The combine driver was flown to Aurora Hospital in Summit for treatment.
The semi driver suffered minor injuries and was released at the scene. The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
