What Risks Are Linked to Passing in Restricted Zones?
Passing in areas marked as no-passing zones can increase the risk of head-on collisions. These zones are typically placed where visibility is limited or where road conditions make passing unsafe.
Crossing the centerline into oncoming traffic can reduce the time drivers have to react. Even a brief misjudgment can lead to a serious crash, especially on highways where speeds are higher.
Road markings and signage are designed to guide safe driving behavior. Following these rules helps reduce the chance of collisions and keeps traffic flowing more safely for everyone on the road.
