Shreveport, LA (January 10, 2026) – A major traffic accident involving an 18-wheeler and a beige GMC Sierra occurred on Friday morning at the intersection of North Spring St and Airport Dr in Shreveport, leaving at least one man injured.
The crash was reported around 9:50 a.m., prompting a response from District Two units, area supervisors, and the Shreveport Fire Department. According to dispatch communications, one male sustained a laceration to his head as a result of the collision.
The impact between the semi-truck and pickup caused significant concern for responders, who were quickly dispatched to the scene to assess injuries and secure the area. The fire department was also called in to assist with medical support and possible hazard control.
Traffic delays were expected in the vicinity as authorities worked to clear the wreckage and begin an investigation into the cause of the crash.
