Shreveport, LA (January 30, 2026) – A 47-year-old woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot near Marshall St in Shreveport on January 29. The incident occurred near a Kroger location and prompted an emergency medical response from Medic 19.
According to reports from paramedics en route to the hospital, the woman was alert and conscious following the collision. She suffered pain in both lower legs, her right hip, and her lower back. Responders noted an elevated blood pressure and swelling to her left knee, though no significant deformities were observed at the time of transport.
The victim did not report any loss of consciousness and had a normal oxygen saturation level. Emergency personnel monitored her condition closely while preparing her for further evaluation at a nearby medical facility.
