Rock Valley, IA (August 13, 2026) – A Sioux Falls man suffered serious injuries on Wednesday after a Dodge truck and a Peterbilt collided near 2847 Elmwood Ave in Sioux County.
The Dodge was traveling south on L30 while the Peterbilt was heading north. According to the report, the Dodge crossed the centerline at the top of a hill and struck the Peterbilt nearly head-on.
The Dodge driver was taken by air to a Sioux Falls hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The Peterbilt driver was not hurt. The report credited the Dodge driver’s seatbelt with helping save his life. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
