Nashville, TN (September 5, 2026) – A crash involving at least six vehicles slowed the commute on Interstate 40 in West Nashville. The collision was reported shortly before 9 a.m. near mile marker 206 on the eastbound Interstate 40 on Thursday, September 3.
Tennessee Department of Transportation SmartWay cameras showed at least four vehicles stopped on the interstate shoulder. Two additional vehicles were visible in the second lane from the right. Traffic delays were reported in the area following the crash.
