SOUTH WHITTIER, Los Angeles County, Calif., Sept. 25, 2026 — A motorcyclist suffered major injuries Thursday morning, September 24, in a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at Telegraph Road and Corley Drive, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision was reported around 10:15 a.m., according to CHP dispatch logs. Los Angeles County Fire Department units responded to the scene along with CHP officers.
Within minutes, the CHP upgraded the call from a traffic crash with a possible injury to a major injury collision. A tow truck was requested to clear the roadway.
