San Bernardino, CA (August 31, 2026) – California Highway Patrol officers responded early on Saturday morning, August 29, to an injury hit-and-run crash on westbound Interstate 210 east of Highland Avenue in San Bernardino. The incident was reported at approximately 2:12 a.m.
Dispatch records from the CHP indicated that an unknown vehicle was involved in the collision and that a vehicle had reportedly been speeding before the crash. At 2:19 a.m., the incident was reclassified from a collision with unknown injuries to a hit-and-run with injuries.
The crash left vehicles obstructing the roadway and prompted requests for multiple tow trucks. A Dodge Ram with damage near its left front tire was among the vehicles referenced in the incident log. Authorities continue investigating the collision.
