Springfield, MO (January 29, 2026) – An early-morning traffic accident on westbound Interstate 44 just past Exit 82A (US 65 South toward Branson) resulted in at least one reported injury and temporary disruptions for motorists traveling through the area.
The crash was reported at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Thursday, near mile marker 82.2, a heavily traveled corridor east of Springfield. Initial information indicates that the incident involved at least one vehicle, though full details about the number of parties involved have not yet been released.
