Tukwila, WA (January 30, 2026) – Several individuals, including a teen, were injured on Wednesday night following a rollover crash involving an RV and a sedan on the northbound I-5 HOV lanes near Tukwila.
The collision was reported at approximately 9:52 p.m. and resulted in one of the vehicles overturning. By the time emergency crews arrived, the overturned vehicle had come to rest upright. Fire units quickly established command and coordinated triage operations while assessing all occupants involved.
Among those hurt was a fourteen-year-old passenger who, along with several others, sustained minor injuries. Multiple ambulances were requested to transport patients for additional evaluation. Emergency responders worked efficiently to secure the crash site and manage traffic hazards.
Traffic in both directions of I-5 was temporarily disrupted as medics and firefighters stabilized the scene and cleared wreckage. Authorities are continuing to investigate the events that led up to the collision, including the potential impact of speed, lane changes, or visibility conditions.
