Tallahassee, FL (January 21, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a sedan and a pickup truck injured four people Tuesday evening in Leon County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The collision took place around 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Beech Ridge Trl and Kinhega Dr. Investigators say a 78-year-old driver in a sedan was heading south on Kinhega Dr and failed to yield while entering a roundabout. At that same time, a 16-year-old operating a pickup truck was already inside the roundabout, traveling along Beech Ridge Trl, when the sedan struck the vehicle.
As a result of the crash, the 78-year-old driver and both teens in the pickup truck—including the 16-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger—sustained minor injuries. A 15-year-old passenger in the pickup, however, suffered serious injuries and was transported for urgent medical care.
Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. No citations have been announced at this time.
Our thoughts are with the young passenger seriously injured in this crash, and we extend heartfelt wishes for a full recovery to all involved.
