Tannersville, PA (January 27, 2026) – A three-vehicle accident occurred on January 26 in front of the Burger King located at 2623 Rte 715 in Pocono Township. Initially dispatched as a no-injury crash, the situation escalated when officers on scene requested EMS for a woman who struck her head on a vehicle window.
Patrol units from Pocono Township Police Department (PTPD) arrived on scene around 6:41 p.m., followed by EMS 827. The injured woman was evaluated for a head injury at approximately 6:43 p.m. after reportedly hitting her head during the crash. Although the scene prompted a medical response, EMS later confirmed the patient declined transport and treatment.
One SUV involved in the accident required towing, and Schliers Towing was requested to assist with removal shortly before 6:50 p.m. Despite the initial concerns, EMS officially cleared the scene by 7:09 p.m.
Authorities are continuing to review the cause of the accident. Fortunately, no additional injuries were reported.
