What Can Cause ATV Rollover Crashes?
ATV rollovers can occur when a rider loses control while traveling over uneven ground, making a turn, or operating at a speed that makes the vehicle difficult to manage. The vehicle’s weight and design can also affect how it responds to sudden steering movements or changes in terrain.
Riders can reduce risks by following posted rules, wearing protective equipment, and maintaining control of the ATV. Passengers can also affect the vehicle’s balance, making proper seating and safe operation especially important. Staying within the vehicle’s recommended capacity can help maintain stability.
