Motorcycle Safety Around Passenger Vehicles
Motorcycles are smaller than passenger vehicles and can be harder to notice in traffic. Drivers should check mirrors and blind spots carefully before changing lanes or turning.
Motorcyclists can improve their visibility by using headlights and wearing reflective gear. Maintaining a safe speed and leaving enough space from other vehicles can also provide more time to react.
At intersections, drivers should look carefully for motorcycles before entering or crossing a roadway. Staying focused and avoiding distractions can help reduce the risk of a serious accident.
