Columbia, SC (August 17, 2026) – A teenage boy was injured on Sunday afternoon, August 16, after being struck by a vehicle near Two Notch Road and Chestnut Street. The crash happened at approximately 12:15 p.m.
The teen was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The initial report did not provide details about the severity of his injuries or his current condition.
Northbound lanes of Two Notch Road were blocked for an extended period while investigators worked at the scene. Drivers were advised to avoid the area during the closure. Investigators continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the crash.
