Washington County, MO (August 31, 2026) – A 17-year-old driver and two adults were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday evening on MO-21 at MO-E, according to an official report.
The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. on August 29. A northbound 1994 GMC 1500 was in the left-turn lane when it turned into the path of a southbound 2008 Hyundai Elantra. The GMC struck the front left side of the Hyundai. The 17-year-old driver suffered minor injuries, while a 42-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger in the Hyundai were moderately hurt.
All three injured people were taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital for treatment. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene. The collision remains under investigation.
